About RapidCare
RapidCare Clinics was started in November 2004 by Dr. Elizabeth
Burnell-Mansolo and Dr. Ron Mansolo. The two had been in private family
practice for 6 years and founded a local free clinic Samaritan Health Ministries.
This work led to their desire to create a new type of primary care clinic that
combined the benefits of their private practice and their free clinic while
eliminating the many hassles and roadblocks today's healthcare system has
created.
The goal was to create a professional clinic environment that provided quality
primary care to patients with little or no insurance and do so in an affordable
manner. The clinics would also provide patients with health insurance the
option of having minor medical problems taken care of in a quick and easy
manner.
Teaming up with local businessman Mark Gaddy the group now has a clinic
open with plans of opening more in the Austin and the surrounding central
Texas area in the coming years. The core goal of each clinic will be to become
a neighborhood asset by teaming up with local schools, municipalities, and
small businesses to provide the most worthwhile services to each area.
